I teach boot camp aerobics 2 times a week and my Dr told me today when I called I can still teach, just to keep my heart at 120 and not to do abs. My boot camp is moves similar to P90X and insanity. Can any one offer some Pregnancy workouts that I can incorporate into my class? Or what you have done to work out during your pregnancy. I am currently 5 weeks and I feel great! Not sick or tired yet, so I feel like I can still do the normal, I just know not to! Thanks

"Keep your HR at 120" is ridiculous advice. Totally outdated and not based in anything medically valid.
You could keep doing your normal workouts for a lot longer. You don't need to stay off your belly until it's in the way; you don't need to stay off your back until you feel uncomfortable being there (around 28 weeks for me); you don't need to cut your HR, you need to listen to your body and slow down if you are nauseated or lightheaded.
Exercising Through Your Pregnancy is a great book. Cassandra Forsythe's Blog is great. If you're leading boot camps, you don't need to quit on yourself yet. You won't be doing yourself any favours by letting your fitness atrophy this early.
I totally agree with PP. I'm almost 28 wks and still running(albeit slower and just this week having to incorporate some walking breaks) and doing cardio 5-6 times a week and light lifting twice a week. I was able to keep up my regular Pre-pregnancy routine until ~24 wks. ACOG no longer recommends a strict heartrate limit(google it if interested) but RPE and listening to your body are what I've been going by. Good luck!
