has anyone else used this? ava isn't underweight or anything, but she is a very light eater and i just want to give her something to "fill in the nutritional gaps" as the label says. how much/often do you give it to your dc? the label doesn't really say.

Re: pediasure?
Jack has it off and on depending on his weight... he doesn't really like it though I think b/c he remembers getting it through tube feeds. It has a funky after taste too.
Have you talked to her doctor about it? It won't hurt her or anything but I'd be careful with it with Ava as it can be very filling and might keep her from eating... I'd probably only give it to her once a day and only a small amount... 3 or 4 ounces tops, and probably only after her last meal of the day.
Can I just say that Ava is insanely cute! I love her hair and her eyebrows (my kids didn't have either till they were like 3
You'll have to post a new sig pic soon!!!
Hannah
that is exactly how i've been giving it to her, with her last meal of the day and about half of the 8 oz. bottle. i plan on giving her pedi a call, but i've been hesitant b/c while i love our pedi some of his office staff gets on my nerves--i feel like they always jump the gun and don't even listen to what i'm saying is going on and just say "you need to bring her in."
also i do need to post a new pic of ava, and i have one of isaac i need to pip for you. i'm at my mom's house with ava right now, and isaac came with his black and white rock star blankie and his sock hat with a skull on it. and no, this is not for halloween, this is normal attire for him. michael & ari are much more into the rocker stuff than the typical teddy bears and jungle animals, lol. he is so cute!
You should totally PIP that - it sounds awesome!! I hear he's a total cutie... I still haven't met him
although I'm certain I'll see him with the holidays coming up.
Sounds like you've the got the pediasure thing under control - smart mama!! I think some parents go a little nuts with that stuff b/c it's supposed to be good for them but if you use it the wrong way it can acutally make them eat less which is the opposite of what you want..
And I totally hear you about your doc's office... I know from other posts where you go and the office staff is exactly why I switched ped's when Jack was born. (I went to that practice my whole life until my doc retired when I was a teen and my mom was a nurse there for years
. Then I took Sophi there for a long time (we saw Dr. H - love her!). But the staff got out of control when the office moved several years ago so we got out of there... with as much as my kids are at the doctors I cannot handle disorganization or rudeness.
