Let me preface this by saying that I love "nice" bags, like Coach. Therefore when needing to buy a diaper bag for DD that love for nice bags transferred over to diaper bags and I've become a little bit of a freak over it. So I thought to peruse Petunia Pickle Bottom's website last night and absolutely fell in love with this bag. Sooooo.....I bought it. Of course I'm feeling a bit of buyer's remorse because it's frickin' expensive for a diaper bag. I'm hoping once I have it in my hands I'll feel alllll better!

Re: Yikes! I splurged.
Wha?!?! You mean you have to pay with actual money? Oh damn......
Surprisingly I have the money (and it's from my personal acct. so DH can suck it!) but if I don't immediately fall in love with it when it arrives I may just return it. It's not worth $137 if I don't absolutely adore it.
DH rarely goes out with DD alone so it's not a big concern. Plus, when we had DD we just bought a basic backpack so he'll probably use that or the JuJuBe I already have that's not too girly.
I had a Petunia for DS. I was in love with it at first...then when we started taking DS out more and we needed to pack more there wasn't much room for all the necessities. Instead of buying for look this time I will buy for practicalness (is that a word?) LOL.
I love this! Will it transfer over with Winter? I am thinking when I will actually be out with LO. I registered for a big skip hop for bigger trips and getting a Michael Kors tote for day to day. I have to check out this site now! Great buy!
I'm not sure what you mean by that. In the reviews people liked this better then the bigger bag in this line. They said it surprisingly was roomier. I've also found ways to be more compact in the past 18 months so I'm hoping space won't be too much of a problem. I also like that it has hidden straps so it converts to a backpack. My only concern that I've been hearing is that it's fabric and not that hard shell that PPB typically come in so cleaning might be a biitch.

Me too. I felt like it should have had plenty of room but it was really hard to get to stuff if you packed for a whole day in my petunia. If you love it try putting a couple changes of clothes 5 diapers 2 bottles, wipes some snacks etc in it and see if you can get to them. If not you probalby wont enjoy using it.
I think that's a great bag! There's nothing wrong with spending money on dipe bags....it'll be an accessory you'll use for years to come. I have a few. LOL My current fave is a NR hansel. Awesome bag! Organized mommy while still keeping some hip identity...priceless!
