Thanks for reading my blog. Let me know if you have any specific Rock and Roll questions. It's a great race and good for a first time half marathon. I really loved it and would be doing it again this year if I wasn't pregnant.

  • I love reading/hearing about other people's running experiences.  I'm still a newbie runner and still trying to learn to love it like so many people do! But it's definitely getting easier and I do like races and the competition, I've heard lots of good things about the Rock and Rol...so I'm excited!! Maybe when your LO is born we could meet up for a run sometime! :)

  • I would love that. Let me know if you are interested in any other races. I don't think I have the complete list on my blog of the ones I have done, but I post race reviews after each one. I started my blog back in October, so I don't have any ones earlier than that date. I ran about ten races last year. It gets so addicting!

  • I did the Rock and Roll in 2010 as well - what a fantastic race, organization, swag, route, volunteers - one of the best I've run (Ok ok - I've only run 2 - but the R&R was 1000x better than the Seattle half marathon which was a B!tch of a route!).

I haven't run since finding out about being pregnant but I will take it up again after LO is born...but I'm a slow runner...and I mainly run to lose weight, I keep waiting to actually like it!

Wow, 10?! That's inspiring! :) I will def. let you know if I have questions about any! I've only run 2 races so far (both 5ks).  I'm signed up to run a 15K in May to help me prepare for the Rock and Roll in June.  I'm nervous for both of them since I haven't run further than 5 miles consecutively yet, but I'm hoping to work up to that soon and hopefully start enjoying it more .. maybe if the weather gets better that would help!! :)

So glad to hear good reviews about the Rock and Roll ..thanks to both of you!
