Indiana Babies

I love how easy it is to remember pregnancy dreams...

Last night was the first time my dreams have involved the baby or being pregnant.  This one wasn't nearly as entertaining as when I was part of the Glee cast, but it was weird nonetheless.

I went to a regular appointment at 33 weeks, and when I walked in Kayla Aimee (of blog land) was my doctor.  She and a team of nurses were prepping for my c-section, and I was surprised.  "Ummm, I didn't know I was having the baby today."  There was nothing wrong with me or the baby, they were just determined to get the baby out that day. I finally convinced them to let me go home and at least have one more week.  She said that was fine, but that "He'll be okay even if he's born at 33 weeks.  He'll grow faster than you think."  Then it was a big whoops, because she wasn't supposed to tell me it was a boy because we were team green. They let me go home without a c-section, but were annoyed that they had already blocked off the time for the surgery.

Strange.

We are!  And I have this very irrational fear that the ultrasound tech is going to forget and accidentally tell us anyway.  Dumb.  I think it's coming out in my dream.

  • that is very funny dream!  i love that KA is making it into your subconcious!  with our 20ish week ultrasound our tech asked if we wanted to know and of course we said no.  i did ask if she knew what we were having and she told me that if the parents say they don't want to know - she doesn't look.  whether that's true or not, i don't know but i believed her! :)
