GO MELANIE!!! (AW/PIP)

Just had to share. We started trying to nipple Melanie even though they normally aren't ready for it until 34 weeks...(She's 33 weeks right now.) The first day she sucked down 6 ml of her 26 ml. So the rest went into her feeding tube. Well yesterday Daddy must have had the magic touch. She took down her entire feeding a whole ounce!!! Soooooo excited. It's one HUGE step in the right direction. She's just doing so well. I'm so proud of her!!!!!

Thanks for letting me share, and stick around with you wonderful May mama's. I feel comfortable here and don't want to leave. (Even though, I am now a March mama!)

I'm on the mend. My blood pressures have definetely gone down. And I lost 40 lbs. in a week and a half. It is absolutely amazing how much water weight I was carrying. It amazes me, just how sick you can get with pre-e. I really thought I was going to die (not being sarcastic) that last day before she was taken by c-section. I'm feeling much much much better now. Thanks for asking!
