What's this reflux sleeper called?

I swear there's been an ad for this thing in the back of every parenting magazine for the last two years and now I can't find it. It's a foam reflux positioned that holds them on their back and upright. It's contoured, like a wave almost, not like the wedge ones I keep finding when google. Anyone know what it's called?

That's it!!!! Thank you!! Anyone have one of these? I had no idea how much they cost - yikes! Ds slept in his carseat for the first 8 weeks but I remembered seeing these and thought it might be good for my nephew.

  • I've heard good things about them and they look so comfy that I want one for me! But I have no personal experience with them.

Just an fyi, there was a recall on them a few month ago, so just be sure you are aware of whatever that issues was if you decide to buy.

  • Try this instead!  We don't have it, but I've heard nothing but raves about it from bumpies.  We're totally getting one for #2.

And yes, there was a recall for the Nap Nanny, but the parents had put the thing in a crib with bumpers.  If it had been on the floor like the directions suggest, that poor baby wouldn't have passed away.

You want this one!!!!!! My DD slept in this for about 6 months!  Its the only thing that helped her with her HORRIBLE reflux.  The only reason she isn't in it any more is because she finally out grew it.  I cannot recommend this enough as I have no idea how terrible our last months would have been without the rock n play.

We also used the Fisher Price Rock'n'Play sleeper - it was great for my reflux-y guy.  It's certified as a basinette, but they can sleep sitting up.  And it doesn't take much space.  I wish I'd had this for all my kids!!

I highly recommend the RnP - we have Judith sleeping in it right now, and it has done wonders for her reflux.  We also have a Graco bassinet/travel crib, and we're going to transition her back into that once she's a little bigger, but for the last month and a half she's been in the RnP and sleeps great.  She also likes the feeling of being contained, and the RnP cradles the baby in a way that they can feel contained.  You can use the RnP like a regular bassinet, and the weight limit is also greater than that of some traditional bassinets.  Both my H & I like how the RnP's lightweight and portable.  Anyway, I sound like a walking advertisement, but this seriously has been one of the best purchases I've made for her, and she's getting a lot of use out of it.

I know - me too!!  Stick out tongue  I wish I'd get a comission for each person I've recommended it to!

  • Thanks for posting this.  My ds has reflux and I checked the reviews and we just ordered it.  Good luck with your reflux issues.
  • LOVE LOVE LOVE the RnP! Esp. since now we are transitioning DS to his crib and so at night we bring the RnP upstairs to keep handy in case his reflux acts up later at night. Best baby purchase hands down!
