  Hi & Congrats!

   I delivered at St. Joe's Women's and I believe they only have private rooms. I definitely would schedule their hospital tour which was included in the the childbirth class which I would also recommend if this is your first pregnancy. I did take a breastfeeding class, but that was offered through my dr.'s office. I hope that helps.

   I loved my experience at St. Joe's Women's and I'm looking forward to delivering again!

  They only have private rooms for maternity. As suggested above take the childcare class but if you do not wish to you can call and schedule a tour only. It was a great tour. The hospital offers many classes which have been great!

  Yes it was a private room... the only option.

  I didn't take any of the other classes, but that was just me.

  Hi chocoholicchick, have you called St. Joe's to schedule a tour or anything? I will be delivering at St. Joe's too. I called them back in March and they didn't have an opening for a tour until April 26th. I just wanted to let you know so you could get in soon. There seems to be a long wait time.
