Soooo...I just really wanted to say, we are a great bunch of moms. Seriously. I've dealt with some doozies of situations this last week or two, and I came on here tonight in a foul mood. And, yes it's sappy, but look at this community, the things that we worry about, the things we get happy about - we're doing a great job and our babies are loved.
Yes, I'm being vague on purpose, but I can't disclose work stuff. I can just say I've had more than a few nights lately where I've come home in shock and just kissed K.
Re: Random vague posting about parenting.
Steal my kids picture or pretend they are yours, I will find where you live and ship all of their dirty diapers to your doorstep. Promise.
You think you're ready for anything, then you have your own kid and your perspective is shot!
Ah, yes! Having your own really does magnify your emotions towards others.

I agree wholeheartedly and second what Amy says. I think being a mama, especially to little ones, really heightens our sensitivity to other people's struggles or tragedies.
Hang in there K, you're doing a noble job that so many of us appreciate and respect, even if we forget to say it as often as we should.
