Weekend cabin rave

So DH's 40th birthday was this weekend. We rented a cabin at Cama Beach State park. It was great. We got a cabin with a bathroom in it ( there are only a few with the bathroom in them).   It had 3 beds, a fridge freezer and microwave and sink. We brought a camp stove for basic cooking. The cabins also have internet. Yep, so we could stream movies if we wanted or check email.

DS loved it he said Totally awsome when we went inside. We got to fly kites, build a toy boat, throw rocks in the water, jump in puddles, DS played soccer with some other kids. He climed on drift wood. DS even played baseball by using a dust pan to hit a ball we had with us.

We had about 2 other couples with kids meet us there for Saturday afternoon and all the kids played.

Anyway it is a really cool place about an hour north of Everett on Camano Island.

    So glad you had had fun!  When we went I called around this time of year and booked for late Sept, I think we did a Friday night.

    Thanks for the rec!  I've heard good stuff about that place, but it's always full.  I will be trying to plan ahead for next year so we can go out and maybe spend a weekend.
