my sisters and a couple of friends are hosting my baby shower and i woud like to get them a gift to thank them for all the work they have done.

Do you have a price range in mind? Maybe a little pretty cosmetic bag with some of your favorites in it - maybe a lipgloss, travel sized perfume, that sort of thing??
One of my friends gave me a little coach wallet once - I still use it and think of her.
My sister in law gave her friends each a piece of jewelry she selected for them from Brighton (did I spell that right?).
