stroller rental in Disney

We're heading to Disney and would rather not bring our stroller along. Have you ever rented a stroller down there? I looked at two companies: Magic Rentals and Orlando Stroller Rentals. Have you ever used either of them? Any suggestions welcomed! :)

Re: stroller rental in Disney

  • You can rent strollers right from Disney but fyi they don't recline. I brought my umbrella stroller that reclined (for DS's naps) and would do it again. There are stroller "parking lots" everywhere at each park. It's a designated area that you can leave your stroller. No one really watches them, but staff always straighten them up in line. Sometimes your stroller might not be exactly where you left it, but we always found ours. I wouldn't bring my bugaboo for fear of it going missing.

  • We are leaving for Disney for Monday!  We went when dd was 10 months old and I brought our umbrella stroller and it worked out great so we are bringing it again.  Our umbrella stroller reclines and has a basket which was helpful.  Have fun!

  • You can rent them right at the park entrance for about $15. They dont recline and dont have drink/snack holders but they have the storage pockets which are nice. I would rather rent one of theirs than take my umbrella or Chicco stroller.

  • I think I might go with Orlando Stroller Rentals. I can rent a Baby Jogger City stroller with insurance just in case it disappears. They will deliver it to our resort and pick it up the day we leave. One less thing for us to lug onto the plane. The ones at the parks don't look very comfy.

  • We used Magic Strollers and really liked it. The stroller had a bit of an odor from the cleaner used (hey, it meant they cleaned it well!), but it was in great condition, and once out of the hotel you didn't notice the smell. We also liked that it had the parent console like our mini at home, and you could request the rain cover. Magic Strollers is owned by a company called Owner's Locker that comes highly recommended.

The stroller was there at the front desk when we checked in and we just dropped it a bell services on the day we left. It was so much easier than lugging a stroller through the airport and much cheaper than renting a stroller at the parks. Plus, our little one had a hard time falling asleep at night, so we used the stroller at our resort to walk her around to get her to sleep (which you can't do with a park rental, you can't take them out of the park you rent from). We would definitely use them again.

     Hope this was helpful!

  • that was helpful! thank you!
