I've been trying to be more aware of the type of cleaners I use around the house, especially with a new baby coming. I typically use a vinegar/water mix or bleach water around, but I want something that is all purpose, that I can use anywhere, without worrying about the kids being around it.
I just bought a bottle of Seventh Generation all purpose cleaner, and it works great, but it smells like crap. Seriously...
I've heard really great things about Shaklee's H2, but I'm skeptical.
What do you use? What do you hate? TIA!
Re: Rec your cleaner...
DH is very sensitive to cleaners. I cannot really use anything commercially made. I personally make my own using Dr. Bronner's soap. https://www.drbronner.com/ I find when I make my own, I can adjust the scent to my liking.
The Eco-Friendly Family board is also a great resource.
GL and I hope that you find something you like.
We use vinegar and water with essential oil added nice smell we use it on everything as a multi-purpose cleaner.
Steam cleaning wood/vinyl floors is really good for babies you are only using hot water to clean the floor.
l never use bleach, or harsh chemicals, we even make our own laundry detergent. My DH was skeptical of the whole Eco home made thing but now he loves it, its so cheap and works just as well as the expensive chemical stuff.
