Went to Sandals in the Bahamas. LOVED IT. We had butler service (although really did not take advantage of this) they were great and left snacks in our room it was awesome. The food was good and every night they had different types of entertainment like a live band, movie night. I think we are going to try to go back for our 10 year anniversay.

We went to Hawaii, Waikiki Beach for a week and then Maui for 5 days back in 2008. It was so much fun, we drove through the mountains in Maui, the roads were literally on the side of mountains where it was a one lane road with no guardrail and a cliff type of drop off. It was the most nervewracking drive of my life, but at the end we were like "holy $hit that was crazy."
We were suppossed to go back in October but DD was only a month old so we didn't end up going. But we def. plan on going back sometime soon.
We went to Aventura spa palace in the Mayan Riviera. it was great, until there was a hurricane and we had to pay $900 for emergency flights out of there.
But, the food was amazing, the pool was amazing, and the free drinks were amazing. We had a great time!

We got married in July and decided to do something different than a cruise or beach trip so we went to Whistler in Canada. It was absolutely gorgeous, there was tons to do, the weather was amazing and it wasn't croweded at all! Such a great trip.

We went to Sandals in Jamaica (Ocho Rios) and we LOVED it! We may go back for our 5 yr., but we would go to a different resort. OP, where in hot, HOT AZ are you? Phoenix?

I wasn't expecting to say "this" in a post like this, but this! Except in 2007. Hawaii was phenomenal and I'd love to go back some time.

Ohhh I would LOVE to go to Jamaica!
I'm from Tempe/Mesa. Right on the border. What part are you in? Can you believe the weather we have been having. It was a record high last week and I was NOT thrilled. 102 in April is unfair! haha

Yeah this weather is nuts...but at least it's supposed to cool off this week, and gasp! rain this weekend. I am actually probably about 4 hours northwest of you closer to Kingman, (which I don't really like to claim) I live near the border of NV, so it's closer to for us to shop and stuff in Vegas (yuck). I've been in Tempe before, because we bought a boat near there and I HAD to go to IKEA because I had never to one before, lol. I figure most people on here that live in AZ are in the Phoenix area, but ya never know!

Rain would be amazing! As long as it rains long enough instead of just getting my car dirty! I know where Kingman is! Ikea is the best and I have to keep myself away from there or we'll go broke! haha

I HEART Whistler!!
DH and I go up there for a weekend every year. we aren't winter sports enthusiasts, so we go in the summer; it's gorgeous! It helps that we're only a 2 hour drive away.
Did you go in the summer or winter?
It's such a great place up there!

We went to Turks and Caicos for 10 days...just a quiet little resort. We absolutely loved it, very laid back and relaxing, gorgeous beaches and amazing food.
I keep saying it would be a great vacation spot to go w/ little ones...but I think with all the different places to go it's not likely we'll go back.

We went in July! Love, love it. We also did Vancouver for a day. My SIL is from Vancouver and her parents still live here so we all met up!

We stayed in Charleston, SC for 2 days before hopping a cruise ship to Mexico, Grand Cayman Is. and Key West. It was wonderful! Charleston is always fun, we took an excursion in Grand Cayman to swim with sting rays and bar crawled our way through Key West
We actually ended up taking the exact same ship on a family cruise 3 years later, lol. A lot of the same staff too!
Anniversaries we like to keep somewhat local, we love heading to the mountains and renting a cabin for such occasions!
Fiji. We wanted to go somewhere neither of us had been - that ruled out all of Europe, most of the Caribbean (besides it was Hurricane season), and Hawaii.
Fiji was amazing, the perfect HM spot. but I don't think we'll go back any time soon. The next time we're in that part of the world, we'll be hitting up New Zealand again. We love, love, loved the land of the kiwi.

HA! what a small world; I live here; and love it! We're currently on a one year hiatus in the burbs (still the Greater Vancouver area), but nothing compares to downtown Vancouver (well, of anywhere I've been)!
What did you think of the city?

We were super low-key. We stayed at DH's family's house on Ocracoke Island for a week. Just us and our pups. It was fun and very relaxing. But we go there several times a year, so it was no big deal.

We went to St. Thomas. Our honeymoon got off to a rocky start. There was a tropical storm, and we were staying in my MIL's timeshare and there were bed bugs (romantical). We ended up ditching that place for a fabulous week at the Ritz Carlton and the weather cleared up on day 2. Loved it.
We went on a cruise around the Mediterranean, we went to Monte Carlo, Barcelona, Florence, Rome, Naples, Mykonos, Istanbul, Kusadasi, Athens and Venice. It was the best trip ever.
We said for our 20 year anniversary we would go to Australia.

We went for a week. It was amazing. DH was pleasantly surprised. He thought I was crazy for insisting that we go to Disney World on our Honeymoon but he loved it.
I would like to go back during the week of our Anniversary - which typically falls near Thanksgiving. It is a really great time of year to go and of course we would bring DD.

We went to Grand Cayman for 2 nights, then to Pirates Point Resort on Little Cayman for 4 nights, then another night in Grand Cayman.
Grand Cayman was okay, but Pirates Point was awesome. We'll probably get licensed in scuba diving at some point and go back but we don't know when.

DH and I went to Sandals Antigua for 10 days. It was Ahhhhh-mazing!
We did a big, traditional wedding; however, when were on our honeymoon, we saw several destination weddings and they were gorgeous.
We will be going back to the same resort on our 5th anniversary to renew our vows.

Aww! You must have one hell of a proposal story!
We went to Greece. It was absolutely incredible. We went to Athens, Naxos and Santorini.
I would LOVE to go back but it probably won't happen

I dove the Caymans in 2005, saw Eagle Rays and a Hammerhead, it was amazing. Cozumel is better diving though.
Disney World!
