I need a new case. What do y'all have or what do you like? I have a griffen case that was free when the phone first came out but I think it's time for a new one.
i have an incipio case that seems to be holding up well but i don't think i've dropped my phone yet (::knock on wood::) so it hasn't passed that test...
but FYI ebay is almost always my go-to source to get brand name cases for less. i got SIL two for xmas for less than the price of one at best buy!
I swear by silicone cases. If you get good ones the corners have extra padding so that when (if) you drop your phone they bounce and absorb the shock. Ifrogz have long been my fave, but they didn't have many color options for the iphone4 when I got mine so I went with Switcheasy cause they had orange It's good enough, although I like ifrogz more.
I got a cloth padded, fleece-lined case on etsy (seller: pippichick) and I love it because it has a pocket for my earbuds and a key ring attached. I actually just ordered a new one to shake things up a bit (not because there's anything wrong with the one I got - it's held up great for 2 years). I like that it keeps my screen protected from keys etc. when my phone is in my purse.
I have an Otterbox and I think it's the best bet if you're really rough on your phones or have kids. I've dropped mine too many times to count and it's still perfect. DH wasn't paying attention and dropped a heavy box of documents on the side of his and it barely dented the screen cover. It makes the phone a bit bulkier, but it's worth it IMO.

See my FIL has an otterbox and I swear that phone could survive WWIII. It's a little too bulky for my liking but they do have slimmer versions of it that I may look into. I just got my phone replaced today so I would like to keep it scratch free.
I like this Michael Kors Wallet Clutch but not really good for an everyday case. Might have to put it on my Christmas list.

Ditto the Otterbox! I love mine. And the bulkiness doesn't bother me since I just keep my phone in my bag/purse. It definitely gives me piece of mind when C is playing with it :-)
I had an Otterbox cover for about a year and it works great, but I got the white and it was just starting to look gross and I wanted something new. I just got a purple Speck cover and love it. Not as bulky and it is a hard case. I ordered mine off Amazon, but they have them in the Apple stores too.
The otterbox is supposed to be the best for really rough users but I find it bulky. I have an iphone 4 and I have a speck candy shell and I've dropped it from face height (5ft) onto cement, watched it bounce a couple of times and land face down, not a scratch.
After having cheap covers on my 3G and replacing the cracked screen twice, I went with the Otterbox when I upgraded to the 4. I don't mind the Otterbox for the 4G..it doesn't seem as bulky as the OBs for the 3G and 3GS.
The smaller Otterboxes are not the heavy duty ones everyone raves about, and are just a silicone case basically, just FYI. I'm really rough on my phones, but the Otterbox was too big for me. I have a Speck Candyshell. Soft on the I side to absorb impact, and hard on the outside for protection. I have dropped mine a lot. Most recently, across the concrete floor at Costco. Once, I was jogging on the treadmill, dropped my phone, stepped on it as it went by, and the treadmill sent it flying. It doesn't have a scratch! The flaw is that a plastic strip on the bottom breaks off. Literally this morning I ordered my third one. So I've been through 2 in just under 2 years. But I love them enough, I keep ordering the same one.
Re: NBR: iPhone users
hey, how's it going? I'm just using you to check what kind of bullshit the Bump did to my sig.
ETA: apparently all that work I just did didn't work. EFFERS!
