My 1st OB appt. was at 8w3d. My second appt. is scheduled for my NT scan at 11w3d. Does that seem like a long time btwn appts., or am I just not used to it b/c of getting spoiled by the RE? It seems like a lot of you ladies see your OBs closer to 10 weeks and then come back for the NT scan.

Re: Time Btwn OB Appts.?
I seen my RE little after 7 wks & then seen the OB closer to 10 wks but OB did scan & not a pro at it so we returned twice around 13 wks due to size and measurements needed & won't have another u/s until 19 wks
From 12 weeks until 28 weeks (that is as far as I know), it has been every 4 weeks. At some point, I will start every 2 weeks, but it is some time after I hit 28 weeks (or it could be after 32 weeks).
And they are boring appointments. Pee in a cup, listen to the heartbeat, check my weight and blood pressure. Done.
I did finally have my belly measured this time.
A close friend, who just recently had her baby, saw her OB once a month or so and she was pregnant with a singleton. She started seeing her OB every other week and then once a week towards the end of her pregnancy.
OB appointments should be every 4 weeks with the exception of additional testing like your NT.
I always said, "They throw you right in with the masses." It's a change, but you'll get used to it. As PP said, most appointments are boring... pee in a cup, blood pressure, weight, heartbeat and out you go!
I was seeing my OB every 4 weeks and just started seeing him every 3 weeks. Eventually, at some point soon it will be every 2 weeks and then every week.
They are boring appointments like njohnson said
TTC since July 2008
IUI 1,2,3 BFN
IVF #1 C/P, FET 1,2,3 BFN

it's a girl!!
Kelly, Mom to Christopher Shannon 9.27.06, Catherine Quinn 2.24.09, Trey Barton lost on 12.28.09, Therese Barton lost on 6.10.10, Joseph Sullivan 7.23.11, and our latest, Victoria Maren 11.15.12
Secondary infertility success with IVF, then two losses, one at 14 weeks and one at 10 weeks, then success with IUI and then just pure, crazy luck. Expecting our fifth in May as the result of a FET.
