if you back carry with the ergo

How do you get LO in by yourself? I feel like the biggest goober when I try and usually fail. If DH isn't around to help we go with the front carry.

  • I just started last week and practiced over the couch watching it on youtube as someone on here suggested.

With the moby my husband would wrap me before I left and then I would pop the baby in and tighten it.

  • I have lots of practicing to do before I try that in a parking lot. She gets her baby out way easier than I do right now!
  • When by myself, I found it's so much easier to do a back carry with the Mei Tai than the ERGO. I usually have to have my husband help me with a back carry in the ERGO. I can do it by myself but it's messy.

The moby isn't safe for back carries... it's too stretchy. You need a woven wrap instead for back carries.
