2 years of breastfeeding!

On Friday I am hitting my two year goal for breastfeeding. I can't belive we've come this far.  I could not have made it without the support of DH.  I plan to totally night wean next week, so wish me luck.  :)

    That's awesome! Congrats! I weaned at 25 months and I also dreaded night weaning, but it was super easy...must've been time :) I hope it goes well and drama-free for you! I was surprised at how much I missed it!

    Congratulations and great job!  We will be there in just a few weeks.

    We night weaned about 6 weeks ago and it was definitely a great decision. T is still waking, but he's going back to sleep in our bed pretty quickly and my sleep is definitely improved!

    Congrats! How much & how often did DS nurse after 1 yr? My supply is steadily dropping but I don't think he's ready to wean any time soon.

    Thanks! I nurse DS whenever he wants, he was still nursing often at night at a year.  I just never refuse him and he only drinks water.  (he eats a ton of solids but no cows milk or juice) Good luck to you!

    congrats!  nursing is such a special experience.  one of my twins nursed for 27 months and self weaned.
