anyone else's LO love the iPad?

I do feel a little guilty about it but in my weakness a few months ago when it was 5am and DD wouldn't fall back to sleep, i put on netflix and barney was one of the shows you can stream for free.  She actually sat there and watched it.  I got her a few apps and she loves to sit and touch on the different animals on the screen, etc.  We have the TV on in the background and she never sits long enough to ever watch anything. She's usually wanting to play or torment the dogs.  but when she sees the ipad now, she points at it and squeals. Her new thing now is to watch the "wonderpets" on it.

    Yep.  Ours is now hidden.  It's scary how quickly he caught on to how to work it.

    I am sure if we had one, she would love it.  She likes to play with my ipod touch.

    If we had one, I'm sure DD would love it.  She loves all technology.  And the more we like a particular device - the more she wants to control it.  At 11 months, she understood how to slide her fingers across Daddy's Droid.  It's sick how quickly they learn these things.

    mine spots the ipad and the next words are either mimi (that would be minnie) or mickey

    We don't have an ipad but everytime DS sees my Macbook he immediately stops what he's doing, crawls over to me and yanks back on the monitor.  My poor Macbook.

    Love it!!! DD loves mine but the only app we have for her is an ABC one.

     

    Can you ladies recommend your apps?? What is the animal sounds one?? That is perfect because we are working on these sounds and I think she would love to see the animal !!

    I have 2 apps from the company called Duck Duck Moose i think? It's the "Wheels on the Bus" and the "Itsy Bitsy Spider".  DD knows that if she touches certain animals it'll do something, and she does the same ones OVER and OVER! we also have a bunch of free ones that we try that she likes, some baby flashcards, animal sounds, etc.  There was also a Three Little Pigs story app that she likes too.  Also, I have netflix and if you have an account, you can watch certain movies/shows on the instant watch feature.
