  I started back to work today too! I did drop LO off last week on Tuesday and Thursday so I could see how it would go and to get some stuff done before going back. I miss her but have some pictures to remember what I get to go home to and can not wait!! Glad to hear you are handling it better than you thought.

  I went back to work last Monday. DS was only 6wks. I guess I'm lucky that my mom and MIL are watching him this first month and on May 2 will be his first day with a babysitter. Like PP, I brought a lot of pictures and some videos on my phone. They were really helpful during pumping. It was hard at first and I'll admit I was a little emotional on my way to work today even though I've been doing this for a week now, but it does get better. The first day I went to work, I had a permanent smile on my face the whole way home!!!! I couldn't wait to snuggle my son. You will learn that the weekends are so much more than they used to be.

  Keep your head up and know that the days actually go by a lot faster, especially if you're pumping.

  Today is my first day back to work as well.  Dropping LO off went a lot better than I expected.  No tears were shed but as the time goes by I'm starting to miss him more and more.  I definitely think as each day passes it will get easier and easier so I'm hoping that they days go by quickly and I'll get the hang of this working mom thing.
