I have sooooo much that's outgrown, but alot of it is basic brands - Target, Carters, etc. will they accept that stuff @ Once Upon a Child? I could seriously bring in 5 larger storage "tubs" of clothes/accessories, plus random "gear" that we don't use/never used, etc. Should I just separate out the nice stuff and just donate the cheapo stuff?
Re: Re consigning kids clothes/gear
I don't have teh time or energy to go through and price and tag all my stuff.
I want the space back more than I want the money, kwim?
hmmm - which one is this? I'm going to go to the one in Ellicott City. I have mostly outfits - especially the really young stuff
The Crofton one. If I bring in outfits and its in good condition, they almost always buy it. They don't give you very much though, but it least you are cleaning out clutter and getting a little cash.
and, if/when we have #2 (which there's more pressure on now - thankyouverymuch
) I'm buying so much less stuff.
Really - why do I have 30 NB sleepers??? And, 50 drool bibs?? I'm only exaggerating a little here
Francesca Pearl is here! Josephine Hope is almost 3!
LOL. I gave away a ton of stuff after I had Ava and I still have plenty for this one so I know exactly what you mean. For some reason though my mom keeps buying newborn stuff like she feels bad this one will only be in hand me downs...um, so?
I have gone to the one in Ellicott City and they seem pretty nice (unlike apparently the Crofton one) so I would give it a shot.

That's not a bad idea - we just need someone to volunteer to organize it.
I wish I could host it but our townhouse isn't big enough.
I think that's a great idea!
have you looked into Greenberries in Columbia? They accept the basic brands if the stuff is in good shape... The lady there seems very nice.
