  OP, you can also check out www.vbacfacts.com and www.theunnecesarean.com .  All of these websites have very helpful information and reading lists to get you started.  With ICAN, you can join the online community, as well as find a local meeting group in your area for more information on local hospitals and providers.  HTH and GL!

  Unfortunately, sometimes an OB isn't the best place to get information.  Not all doctors and midwives keep up with research and know their facts about VBAC.  Hopefully that is not the case with your doctor though.
