Just wondering if anyone else is dealing with this "normal" symptom of pregnancy...
I've been having it off and on for about a month now. Usually it feels like Sudafed-head and I can work around it. But, today I was in the shower about to shave my legs when all of a sudden this wave of dizziness hit me. It was so bad that I was seeing white for a little bit. I freaked and sat in the bathtub and finished washing the conditioner out of my hair and got out once I had my bearings.
The last time this happened to me was when I was taking a shower while very sick with a flu a few years ago, and it was as scary then as it is now. I think I'm sticking with cold showers!
Re: Dizziness/fainting
I am having this problem. i posted about it on the 2nd trimester board yesterday. I am having the problem so bad that its hard for me to stand up at all.
I have been told by everyone the condition is not dangerous, but there is nothing they can do for it. It is suppose to get better later in pregnancy.

I'm worried that this might be a factor... I was anemic around ten years ago when I was a strict vegetarian who hated legumes. I might just go ahead and start up the iron pills again. Think it's a big enough deal that I should call the Dr. first?
it's pretty normal.
I have had waves of dizziness hit me out of no where (not in shower, not standing up too quickly, etc) but they go away quickly as well.

This whole feeling has happened to me multiple times pre-pregnancy (still not very often), but once due to severe pain, and another due to low blood sugar.
The other day around 4:30 AM I woke up wayyy hot (even though I had the air on), and I went to go make it even colder in the apartment, and get an ice pack and some water. I had to go throw myself on the couch before I fell over, and then got the whole major hot flash, cold sweats, and bright stars in my vision. It was awful, and I had the "head full of cotton" feeling the entire day.
My best advice, make sure to eat something every hour or two, stay hydrated, and DO NOTTT over heat yourself.
