Gliders?

I've beens searching for a glider for the nursery for months now. I want one with white wood and the only place I can find to try one out is BRU and the cushion is lime green. I'm leery to order online without trying it out. Anyone have any suggestions about where to look? I've looked at all the BRU, BBB, Target, Ashley, Value City so far. Am checking out Morris and Furniture Fair today.

Look on Hayneedle, they ship out of Monroe. I bought one from The Foundary before Serena arrived but delivery damaged it. It was a nice off white one too.

I wanted white wood only, and ended up finding mine online at Target.com. It has yellow cushions and a little rocking footstool. I got free shipping and it was on sale anyway, so I was willing to take the chance of it not being a top-of-the-line. It arrived in perfect shape and we love it. We still use it every night to read Leah stories.

I think this is what I will have to do. I found one I like. It's the Kendall Sleigh Style but I'm concerned about the comfort and size. So annoying!

I just looked on BRU's website and they had other colors. I know it is hard to order something online like a glider because you want to try it. But if it was the same brand and style I am sure it would be okay. Just a thought Smile

We ended up ordering ours off of Walmart.com. They do have a white one that you can order different color cushions. We had it shipped to the store and picked it up Friday night and it's just fine. It was nice to not have to pay for shipping and I knew that if it should come and I was not happy with it, we could just take it back to the store. We ordered it on Saturday and received notice that it was at the store to be picked up Friday morning. I am quite happy with it and it was nice to not pay BRU higher prices.
