Aubrey is the proper spelling, and it was originally a male name. However, today it is more acceptable as a girl name. Still, the spelling you have chosen screams "Trendy" and I don't think will grow very well with your child at all.
I think McKenna is just plain bad, and also screams trendy, because of all the McSurnames that are being used as first names these days. IMO, its bad. Really bad.
I suggest you go back to the drawing board and try to use uncommon names to get something unique for your daughter, instead of bastardizing trendy popular names.
Well given the names in your other post, I couldn't help but think this was real. You didn't give the impression that you were listening to anything anyone else wrote.

Nobody is trying to be mean, this board is just such sticklers for correct spellings....We wouldn't mind the trendee names so much if the spellings weren't so youneek

Yea, I wasn't "trying" to spell in uniquely. I saw it spelled that way. Theres a show on TLC and the little girl's name was Kenadie as spelled and I liked it. She's the little girl with primordial dwarfism I didn't find Kennedy and then try to change the spelling.

Ha, I think of that little girl when I see Kenadie. I thought it was pretty awful then, too.

I think you should try Awwbree MiCkenna.
It's spelled Aubrey. And it's a very nice name.
I absolutely hate Mckenna.
This was a joke post? How are people supposed to get that...fail
