USA Baby-Richfield

Suggestion for those of you moms and pops to be ..My husband and I checked out usa baby today, and we were very impressed!! It is much smaller than Babies R us and less overwhelming! They had very large selection/crib displays. The staff was very  helpful! Check it out!

    Do you know if Laura is still the manager? 

    If so, I wouldn't step foot in that store if someone paid me too after the way she treated my IL's when I was pg with DD

    not a huge fan of usa baby, to be honest. I much much prefer Pacifier and Peapods, and even BabiesRUs/Target.

    They're selection is great, but ordering from them is a nightmare. 
    Part of my order was 16 weeks later than the estimated 1- weeks it was suppose to be.  They failed to tell me there was an additional delivery cost if I wanted the items anywhere besides my garage.  (And their delivery fee was already expensive.)  When I had paint chipping from the dresser after 2 months of using they told me it was my fault and to call the manufacter.  I did and they said that was something the store should be dealing with them.  I would only consider buying from them again if it was instock and I was prepared to not have any additional customer service.

    Umm, one of your posts on an other board says you work at a baby store.  Would that happen to be USA Baby?

    I wasn't overly impressed with the store or service. The stuff I looked at was overpriced. We went across the street to BBRus and saved about $70 on the same bedding. On these boards I heard such bad stories about the service/ordering I ordered my Bumbleride from an online store and opted to BBRus for furniture. That was over 4 years ago so looks like not much has changed since the all the PP with similiar experience have shopped there more recently than me.

    why do you have 2 screen names?

     

    and there has never been a store in MN, that I or my friends have heard of called baby babble. There did, however, use to be a bebe babble. But an ex-employee would know that.

    It's actually BeBe Babble, but I don't know if they are even still open. It was in Edina.

    I was using my not so smart, "smart phone" that was guessing what to type and instead of correcting it I just let it be. But as you can see I came back on and changed it.The reason I have two screen names, because I created a new one when I couldn't remember the other and I decided I wanted a different email for spam type material vs personal.

    sorry, I'm still not buying it. The only posts you've ever made have been on baby gear, at at least 2 of them have mentioned USA Baby specifically.

    I have heard bad reviews of this store. Even heard some questionable customer service over the phone while visiting once. But I had a great experience there also.

    Got a great discount - even better than they had advertised. Everything came in early but I only ordered a crib and mattress. They held my items for a very long time for me and helped my H load everything.

    I love love love the crib we got there too.

    Not buying it either.  In the other board post you say work, not worked.  And the rest of the post still implies that you still work in a baby store, so not a grammar error.
