Any ladies working out?

Any other ladies here that are still working out? When not napping from being exhausted or fighting off m/s? ;)

Just wondering if anyone is interested in a daily or weekly workout check-in? We had one on TTGP, and I found it extremely motivating to get off my computer and keep up with working out/staying healthy. Now that it is even more important to stay healthy I thought I'd throw the idea out there....

  • I'm still working out. The way I see it, if I stay healthy and fit then I can better help baby stay healthy and fit too. I just picked up a pregnancy workout book with a plan to do during pregnancy and after.

  • I definitely plan to continue exercising throughout this pregnancy.  I was actually just researching a few prenatal workout dvd's on amazon and am now just trying to decide which ones are worth ordering!

    I'm game for a daily/weekly check-in for sure!

  • Oh no, the work-out check-in on TTGP always made me feel guilty for sitting on my a$$ watching TV. Now I'm going to feel guilty here too Wink

    Diagnosed with Anti little c antibodies. DS1 7.11.11 - Anaemia and Jaundice. 10 days in the NICU, 1 exchange transfusion and 4 blood transfusions. DS2 29.8.13 - Anaemia 7 days in the NICU and 1 exchange transfusion. Both are now happy and healthy. 

  • I'm up for it as well!  Continuing to work-out as of now and hope to continue as I am able

  • I am still working out and plan on continuing with my workout as long as possible.  It's hard to do when I come home and want to lay on the couch the rest of the night, but I know it's good for me and baby to do something every day.  A check-in sounds great!

  • I plan on keeping up workouts as well.  I would definitely be into a daily/weekly check-in.

  • The last time I worked out was the the day I got the BFP! I had anticipated going to the gym on Thursday too, but was too tired. Hopefully I'll get there on Monday. I plan on keeping the workouts to some low intensity elliptical cardio throughout while preggers.

  • I'd like a check-in.  I've been swamped with school, work and my kids lately and need something to get me off of the couch and back active.

  • I haven't been so far....I'm bad!   I've been taking a lot of brisk walks though, at least.  But I was feeling pretty bad for a little while with the cramps and wasn't up to doing much.   I just ordered a pregnancy workout dvd though and I'm going to try to start getting some exercise now while I'm feeling okay.  I'm sure when MS starts I'll be back on the couch again.

  • I have been SO bad - I haven't worked out once this week. I think a weekly/daily check in would be a good way to either keep me motivated or guilt me into getting off my duff and doing something.
  • Perfect! Sounds like it is a yes :) I'll try to post it everyday in the afternoon/early evening starting tomorrow.

  • I am going to keep taking yoga and zumba classes, and I want to walk more when it gets warmer.

  • I am working out, but just toning it down a notch. I am paranoid about overdoing it. I just got back into running and I am afraid to keep running, but will do other stuff. I really want to keep doing weights because I don't want to get mushy! The fatigue has definitely kicked in and it is definitely harder to get motivated, but I just think about the baby and that I want to be a healthy role model and still be as fit as I can be!

  • So far I am feeling great and actually had great workouts this weekend! I plan to work out as long as possible to relieve stress and to help me from feeling to yucky!
