DUDES I AM PISSED.
I had that whole post below typed out and was just about to his send when Oisin started his I'm gonna puke cough. So I ran in there, caught most of it in his sick bucket, stripped the crib, and with GD bumper makes it practically impossible on a good day. So, at almost 39 weeks pregnant, I have to climb in the crib, sitting on the railing and stomp the mattress down with my feet while awkwardly pulling the bumper up in order to remake it. Where the fvck was DH??? I have the same damn question. the monitor is right next to his head so at any minute I was expecting him in.
Not a fvcking hope. After I got the puked on stuff together and rinsed out the bucket, I poked my head in the room and there he was snoring away. By some miracle, there isn't a knife sticking out of his neck.
The whole time Oisin was just lying on the floor, staring at me with a pathetic look on his face yet a look that said, lady WTF are you doing up there?
So yeah. Vodka. Now. If I wasn't so effing tired and pregnant, I'd marh down to the end of the block, bust into the bar and order a drink. In my PJ's.
Original post: Ugh, what long effing day. Oisin didn't sleep so by 5:30 he was completely impossible. DH messed up his back at work, so he was useless and I was so tired I actually fell asleep a few times before he got home for short stretches and then would freak out because I didn't hear Oisin. Why I am still up is beyond me, but I am still hungry despite eating 2 enourmous chicken breasts for dinner.
I decided I want to get up before Oisin (fingers crossed) to take a shower. Once he gets up, chuck him in the bath and then head up to my parents for the afternoon. DH has to work and there is no way I can handle another day like today.

Definitely go to your parents house tomorrow. The last few weeks of being pregnant with #2 we SO trying. Hopefully your folks can give you a break. HAng in there!!
Also, your husband owes you big time!
The only thing that stopped me from was Oisin looked so sad there on the floor, I didn't want to leave him. He looked to small and worn down, I just couldn't.
Lol, this. And I totally understand. DH is the master at snoring and sleeping through things that should have woken the dead.
Ugh. Ezra was coughing so hard he puked and puked and puked tonight. I ended up cleaning up the bed, but at least DH bathed Ezra and redressed him for bed.
I am enjoying a drink right now.
