Gave birth to a HUGE BABY!! (11 lbs. 11oz!!!!)

First off let me say...I had a c-section!

I was wondering if anyone else has been in my shoes and had a large baby as well.  My son is almost 2 now and is still HUGE! Not fat, just BIG!  He is 22 months and weighs 40+ pounds.  Wears 4T clothing for the past 3 months.  Has to wear extra wide shoes from the start and is wearing 8 extra wide now!  Buying clothes to fit his fast paced growing has been a challenge!

    I am guessing your husband is a BIG guy too!! That is so huge, I would be ready for lots of football playing in the future Wink

    That is/was a big boy. My husband weighed 10 pounds at birth and his grandmother thought he was a RUNT. Her smallest girl (4 children) weighed 13 pounds. She gave birth to all her children at home from 1913 to 1923!

    Holy cow, that is a giant baby.  He looks handsome and healthy.  Congrats!

    Daaaaang woman, that's a big baby!!! My DS is in the 95th percentile (19 months) and only weighs 30 pounds!

    my boss's baby weighed about that. hes two now and wears 4t's. sounds like you guys are in the same boat.

    p.s. hes already making it in the basketball hoop! i better get tickets when hes older haha.

    I was 11 lbs 7 oz when I was born, my mother also had a c section. I am now pregnant with my first baby and I am soooo nervous aboout having a monster baby!

    Wow, I thought my baby was big at 9lbs 13 oz! I had a c-section too. 

     Congrats, and you look amazing in the hospital pic.
