I've been having vaginal itching that's getting worse for the last two days.  I don't know why but I kind of ignored it and today I checked with a mirror...freaking yeast infection.  Great.  Just great.

    Aw, sorry to hear that! Those suck.. I had an appt on the 28th of march and was told I had a YI..But I had no symptoms yet luckily.. Hopefully the diflucan worked because I have no idea!

    With DD I had a minor YI I think or some kind of allergy.. That I had a bad reaction to, was horrible :(

    Just wondering... what the heck did you see down there? I usually just assume itching is a yeast infection or that i need to shave... i wasn't aware there was something to see?!

    Is that always how you self diagnose? I know immediately with the itching and discharge. No need to inspect with a mirror.

    I'm intrigued how this self diagnosis started.

    I didn't really have discharge but I just had a feeling based on the itching.  I checked to see if there was redness due to irritation and the white discharge that just may not have been copious enough to make it to my underwear. Sorry I know that may gross some people out.
