I'm about 8 days PP and just curious, as I haven't really seen anything about this subject. My bleeding is very, very light and I only use a regular pad- have been for 2-3 days now.
I still use it. I'm 6w pp and done bleeding, but I am still very sore from bad tearing. Use it as long as you are sore, bleeding shouldn't have much of an impact.

I actually only used mine for the first bathroom trip afterwards. I must not have had a huge amount of pain, it seemed like more of a hassle than it was worth

Only a couple weeks this time, until it wasn't painful to dab with toilet paper. Last time I used it for a good month, I had an episiotomy it definitely healed slower.
i used it only the first couple days. I had only 1 stitch and felt great after delivery. I was careful to pat not wipe and I used all the creams/sprays/pads etc for the first week.
I had a partial 3rd degree tear, so I'm still using mine... especially after a BM... I want to keep the area clean so it doesn't get infected. I'm 2 weeks PP.

Not even a week. I didn't have any stiches (baby #3) and very minimal bleeding. It was a pain in the neck to use it when I was at home so I just gave up on rather quickly. I would always forget to fill it up before I went to the bathroom.

I used mine for 6 weeks becaise it just helped me feel cleaner and I was tender for longer than it seems many pp were.

Wow am I weird? I used mine for nearly a month. Not just for pain and to help ease urination but to keep myself clean. I had a super bad tear (was only 2nd degree) but it was so jagged etc that I had to have full blown surgery to repair it. (which oddly ended up costing almost as much as the freaken birth! LOL)
But I actually had small tear that they didn't do anything with that was making peeing unbearable because it was swollen. I didn't even know it was there until my 6 week checkup when my OB told me about it when I told her I was still having alot of pain while urination.
Hell I still use the thing to help keep fresh with AF. Meh I like the thing lol. It's alot more effective then those wipes you get with your pad/tampons.
I used mine for as long as I was bleeding (about 3 weeks). I never had pain while going to the bathroom but I figured it was good for keeping the area clean, especially since I bled a lot!

I used it until 4 weeks pp, mainly because the nurses told me to use it until I stop bleeding.

Until I no longer felt tender and my bleeding had stopped (about 3 weeks or so) I had a small episiotomy and very light bleeding.
I really liked using it, I would fill it with warm water and it felt oh so soothing.
