Still getting sick?

This is my first post on the boards, although I have enjoyed reading others. I will be 15 weeks on Monday and I am still get sick daily. Nausea every morning & evening, and throwing up at several times a week. Anyone else still getting sick? I am ready for this part to be over.

Re: Still getting sick?

  • You are a few days ahead of me but I am still very sick as well. I need atleast 1 dose of zofran a day just to function!

  • Oh dear, I am so sorry you are still getting sick. What have you already tried?

  • I am also on Zofran but try to only take it to get through work in the mornings. I have tried preggie pops, eating small meals more frequently, crackers, ice, chewing gum.... Eating dinner does help in the evening. I do notice it's much worse when if I am really tired or worn out. I am just praying it eases up because I did have a friend that was sick throughout the entire pregnancy.

  • I was super sick in the beginning but it started to ease off around 13weeks.  I still find myself getting nauseated at least once daily and throwing up at least once weekly... I totally hurled in the parking lot of Outback Steakhouse last night before walking in.  Pretty sure, some people thought I was either a)wasted and puking or b) bulemic.

  • I'm right there with you. It lasted until in was 18 weeks with DS. I've tried everything, and nothing works for me. Zofran was not the little miracle pill I hear it is, lol.

  • This is the first weekend I haven't felt sick....and the past couple weeks have been sort of unpredictable (some days fine, others sick again) so I hope I'm finally rounding the bend.

  • I'm not taking Zofran anymore, and my nausea is basically gone, but I am still sick every morning. With DS, it lasted till the day he was born, so...I'm not expecting to get over it this time either.

ETA: Well, if I let myself get hungry, I do get nauseated and sick any time of the day, but I'm eating all the time instead.

  • Still nauseous and sick here too. Dr. said that sometimes people have hg the entire time, so if it ends before Sept I will look at it as a gift. lol

  • I'm still sick too.  :(  I usually take one dose of Zofran whenever I get up to pee around 4 AM (it's like clockwork!).  Around this time, I'm usually starting not to feel well.  If I just go back to bed without taking a pill, I am in for an awful morning of hugging the toilet. I get waves of nausea throughout the day as well that come and go.  I thought I would have kicked this by now!

  • I still feel nauseated daily and actualy get sick a few times a week. It sucks and I am so ready for this to be done. I am on diclectin daily (doesn't really help) and as a side effect I am beyond exhausted.

I normally throw up in the evening lying down in bed then feel absoultely horrible going to sleep and for the first few hours in the am. I just got a note from my midwife for modified work hours at work, I'll show my supervisor next week as per recommended I am not to start work before 11am and finish by 4:30, as my days are soooo hard to get through. At this point I am prepared to go 9 months of this exhaustion and nausea but will find it a blessing if it ends earlier (and still hope it does).

  • I am still getting sick too.  I am taking Zofran just once a day now though.
  • I'm still really sick too, but I have it mostly under control with medication. I get the worst of it at night.

  • I still throw up every day, but usually only in the mornings.   I have nausea almost all day.
