DD has a receiving blanket she has had since her birth and she LOVES it. so much than now she wont sleep without it. my worry is that now that shes bigger and moving around she keeps pulling it up around her face. she puts it right up against her face and sleeps. im afraid shes going to suffocate honestly. what should i do?? i cant take it away because she wont sleep. but im afraid to give it to her! any advice would be appreciated. Is it long enough to tuck under the mattress? The hospital staff tucked our baby in with a receiving blanket but made sure it was tucked in under the mattress. Not that it would make a big difference, but maybe you could cut it into smaller pieces so that it would be more like a lovey? I imagine that she would still put it against her nose though.
