I was just wondering what can i do so that the baby or the umbilical cord does not stick on the amniotic sac. People have told me if your not active and your laying on the couch alot the baby or the umbilical cord can stick to the side and of course this is really dangerous. Just wondering if anyone has heard of this? And what can you do so this won't happen? Its really freaking me out. Thanks for the help!
Re: ???
never heard of this, if your worried about it dont be a bum on the couch 24/7
If you OR the baby stay in a certain position for too long, it can inhibit the growth of a certain area of the baby, depending on what it's laying on. I think it was on TLC's A Baby Story, where this couple's baby boy was born without fingers on one of his hands. The Dr. said that the baby had stayed in a certain position for too long and that's why his fingers didn't grow.
As far as anything sticking in there, I would'nt think it could.
Don't ever feel like any question you have is a dumb question, regardless of some of the insensitive and dumb replies you'll get on here (The Bump)...It blows my mind.
People, The bump isn't the "Authority" on every single intelligent piece of baby info out there. Expand your mind, search the web, or truck it on down to a book store for heavens sake!
