its too nice of a day to spend it at the ob/gyn (long)
I got up this morning and it was such a beautiful day. DH was just getting back from work and we decided to go for a walk to a donut shop about 20 min walk from our house. When we got back I really needed to go to the bathroom.
I completely freaked out when I went to wipe and there was a significant amount of bright red blood in the toilet. I had a check up at 4 today, but DH told me to just call just in case. I had also been having some cramping on the bottom right side of my abdomen and a little back pain. I called and they told me to come in ASAP for a labor check. DD was doing ok and my cervix was closed,
Dr. still wanted to run some tests just to be on the safe side. I came home and took a nap. Woke up when Dr. called and said everything was ok and to just take it easy for a couple of days. She did say if I had any more bleeding or the contractions came closer together or got more intense to go straight to labor & delivery.
Dr. was very thorough and if she said everything is ok, I'm sure it is. I just wish I knew why I was bleeding.
