What is a belly band?

    I hate belly bands....I tried to use them...but it was not for me.  Lots of girls love them though...

    I teach fitness classes and I ended up ordering one of those belly bands that go over the shoulders and back as well as around the belly to wear esp when I teach kickboxing. The prenatal cradle. Retails for $75 but found it on Amazon for $35. Definitely reminds me to keep good posture and and alleviates a little bit of the load in front Wink GL!

    Best thing EVER invented!!  It's good to use when you start getting big, but can still fit in your regular pants.  It's a tight, elastic band that goes below your hips (the bottom of the zipper), and up over your belly (below the boobs).  

    I'm still able to wear my regular jeans at 16wks, I just can't zip them up.  So, the belly band helps hold up my pants.  EVERY pregnant woman should have one!

    I'm not a fan. I constantly felt like my pants were going to fall down. I will say they worked better with some pants than others. Overall, I was just happy to start wearing comfy maternity pants.
