I've never been this sick!

I am going on two weeks of being sick.  I went to the doctor on Monday and I have a sinus infection, double ear infection and an eye infection.  Not to mention the cough that just won't go away and seems to be getting worse.  The doctor told me not to take cough medicine because the only ones that are safe aren't safe with the antibiotics I am taking.  Just my luck!!  I just want a good nights sleep without coughing all night!  I have been using the humidifier and cough drops, but it's just not working.  Any other ideas??  Thanks!

    I have heard of lathering your feet in vicks rub and then wearing socks. I have never done it myself, but a couple of my friends whom I have told swear by it. Good luck and feel better soon!

    You poor thing!  That sounds awful  :(  I usually like either hot tea or hot water with lemon and honey to soothe a cough.

    When I had a cold earlier this year, I used Saline Nasal Spray, which helped to clear the nasal passages. I also drank a ton of hot water with honey.

    a huge spoonful of honey should help your cough

    oh, and I can't forget about the neti pot. Cleaning all the mucus out keeps the drip from your throat.  That helps me TONS.

    I'm currently suffering through antibiotics for an upper respiratory infection with a z-pack. I am allergic to most cough meds, but my doc found something called "Tessalon Perle" that didn't cause a reaction and is safe to take pregnant.
