It isn't just you! I have slowly started using a few non-eco friendly products in the kitchen because the Seventh Gen cleaners I was using smell. The general spray cleaner is absolutely disgusting.
ETA: I do, however, LOVE Mrs. Meyers All Purpose Cleaner in geranium scent. You only use a little dab on a wet washcloth, and the counters come out clean and smell great! :-)

Baby Boy Due This Summer!
We actually only use the dish soap detergent and sometimes the dishwasher detergent - both free and clear versions so there are no scents- and it doesn't smell like anything.
We've used the lavender stuff before and it smelt normal to me....

lol- Well if I am- babypup is too.
the spray cleaner is the worst- and the antibacterial wipes have the same smell. smell them next time you are at hte store.
That reminds me that I meant to ask earlier - are you?? are you??
lmao- you think i would test- i just haven't gotten around to it. I don't think a couple of oddball dreams really means anything. Then again- those were the ONLY pregnancy symptoms i had with either kid.

I can guarantee you I am not. Although we did just return from our kid-free vacation, and it was a lot of fun... ;-)

I meant to ask you how your vacation went!!! Glad you had fun! Definitely well deserved.
The only thing I've tried is the dish soap (lavender mint) and to me it doesn't smell much like anything. I HAVE however, tried Castile soap recently from Kiss My Face and am head over heels for it. I got the lavender mandarin one and think it smells divine. I even blogged about it:
i haven't bought any seventh generation stuff cause I don't like the way it smells. i am picky picky picky about smells. its usually what sways me to either use or not use a product.
i've found the method stuff from target is good. I like the blue glass and surface cleaner, smells minty and fresh. i also like to use dawn dish soap mixed with baking soda to clean the shower/tub. that's about the only eco-friendly stuff i use currently. still looking for a good counter disinfectant that works but smells good. so far no dice on that.
I am a Mrs. Meyers addict. I am mad at my friend who introduced me to them because before that, any old thing from the dollar store was fine. I like the lavendar.
Dr. Bonners peppermint is good for some stuff too.

It was a wonderful getaway, thanks! The weather was in the mid-80's, we sat at the beach, ate and drank the days away. Oh, and slept a ton. It was magical. :-)

It's anything that is disinfecting. Their bathroom cleaner, ,multi-purpose cleaner, etc. all smell like that. I like their dish soaps and dishwasher detergents though and I still have some of the others to use. Ones that smell great, Mrs. Meyers or the Clorox greenworks.

I don't use the 7th generation line other than for dishwasher powder detergent but if you want you could add a few drops of an essential oil like peppermint or lemon to scent it. Thats what I do when I clean with vinegar and water, and it works like a charm!
