saw a circumcision today in clinical

It was not as bad as I thought it would be. In fact, seeing how it was done made it less scary for me. (though I'm sure that most other people would not agree with me).

    I have seen many and I really don't think it is that big a deal. Usually the baby doesn't cry at all or just a bit when the do the first shot of lidocane.

    yeah...with experienced practitioners, it's really not bad...with the lidocaine and then some sugar water, most babies could care less...

    i've also seen many botched..mostly by residents...and a few family practice docs who never do them...and those are just depressing to watch.
