T & P's Please....

So I know everyone's LO's get sick, and Laurel gets sick often, but she's gotten her worst thing yet and I just need to put my T&P request out there. Horrible ear infection (4th one this year), crud in the lungs and a temperature. She normally sleeps well from 7:30 to 7- she's been getting up at 4, crying a miserable cry. It took me 45 minutes to get her back to sleep this morning. She's just so sad looking and it hurts my heart.

I'm hoping that she heals quickly, nothing gets worse (ped said if we didn't do an inhaler for the lungs it could easily go to pneumonia), and better sleep for everyone.

TIA, ladies, I know your thoughts and prayers work wonders.

Awww poor baby! Tons of T&P's coming!!!

I can relate. DS has his third ear infection and he is only 4.5 months old! This one is pretty bad in one of his ears and the doctor has us giving him Tylenol every 4-6 hours for 48 hours. If you are not doing it, you might want to try it. He has stopped the late night/early morning screaming.

Ah poor girl! Does she take the inhaler well? C did at first then was annoyed by it and the next time he had crud in his lungs, they got us a nebulizer. It is amazing to have on hand...just putting it out there. I hope she feels better very soon, healing prayers coming your way!

I am so sorry! Praying for you both! Keep up in the breathing treatments. One thing that helped a lot when Kiah was so Sick when she was a baby was to take her outside to get fresh air for a few min. Also if she is crying during her breathing treatments it's okay because you know the meds are really getting deep into the lungs. One more trick we learned from the respiratory therapist was to lay her belly down on our lap, make a cup with your hand and beat away. It does not hurt them because your hand is cupped. It will help bring up all the junk.

ETA: When Max had his really bad ear infection/high-high fever episode, the doctor told us to alternated Tylenol and Motrin every two hours for 48 hours (this equals out to every four hours for each). You may already know this, but I thought I would give you this advice in case you hadn't heard it. This kept both the pain and the fever at bay.
