  I really like it. My cousin is Karina and she doesn't have any nicknames.

  I  have a cousin named Karina too. No nn's. Although the name sounds harsher to me as an adult than when I was a child (not sure why... it's not my cousin's fault! I loved it when I was little, and I still think it's a good name).

  I love it! A good friend of mine is expecting a girl, and I was thrilled when they announced Karina as the name!

  My mom's name is Marie and was sometimes called "Auntie Re"

  I know a girl with a name similar to Carina and some friends call her "ReRe"
