Question about HPTs

Hello all! I would appreciate your input and past experiences regarding HPTs. I have been feeling VERY exhausted and a little sick to my stomach so I decided last night to take a little internet cheapie HPT.  The test line was so faint I thought it might have been an evap line, so when I woke up this morning I used two more internet cheapies with FMU and got two more, darker but still faint, lines. I then went on my lunch break and bought a FRER with also a faint, but definitely there, line. I am scheduled for a blood test in the morning and was so excited until I got home and DH was very pessimistic and saying he read that FRER's were unreliable with many false positives. What have been your experiences with these types of tests? I am just so excited and hoping to join this board but at the same time I am also terrified that it is all for nothing.. TIA!

    A line is a line, no matter how faint.  Congrats and welcome!!  Wishing you a happy and healthy 9 months!

    my first 2 tests were very faint...but in my experience, faint or not, its still a line and those suckers are usually 99% accurate, regardless of how much you paid for the test.  dollar store is just as good as walgreens brand.

    Awesome ~ thank you both so much!!! I am so excited and thankful to God!! Hopefully I can get it confirmed with bloodwork tomorrow and I will feel much better once I hear it from the nurse's mouth!!! Thanks again!

    My lines were faint as well so I bought a digital to make myself feel better.  GL!

    I did the same, however I know from last time, a line is a line.  Good luck!

    The only issue I had with FRER was a negative test would show a grayish/white line. If it faint but pink, you are good to go. Congrats!!!!

     I tested again this morning and this is what I saw!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you all so much! Should get my beta results this morning as well!BFP!
