When we lost Miller, he was 17 weeks, so it's different this time. With Miller I was dilated using myso(something or another), I went through L&D, then because I wasn't able to pass everything I had a d&c later that morning. So, even after 3 years of being on here I'm not sure what to expect from this.
I stopped taking the prometrium yesterday, I took the last dose yesterday morning. The nurse just said I could expect the bleeding to start soon and it should be painless (which I totally don't believe). They will recheck my numbers on Monday. When I should I really except the bleeding to start? When should I call if it doesn't? I've had some serious cramping on my left side, in the general area of the ovary since before I got the bfp, so that makes me worried, I did mention it to the nurse yesterday, but she didn't say anything about it. I was at school when I talked to her and wasn't able to really ask what I needed to. I won't be able to today either, we're a person short, so I won't even get a lunch break today, and of course the office is closed by the time I get out of school.
Re: Tell me what to expect
Kristy, again I want to say I'm so sorry you are going through this.
I've had 2 CP's, and my bleeding was pretty much like AF with a bit more cramping. With the first one, I started bleeding about a week after AF was due. With the second, I was a day late. I'd say if you don't start to bleed within a week then call.

My losses were all a bit later than this so I can't speak from personal knowledge. However my understanding is that it's like a regular to heavy AF and can be about that level of discomfort.
HUGE HUGS!!
I agree with Csqu. about when to call. I've only had one natural MC ( in the middle of the second). I was supposed to be 7 wks but baby only measured 5 1/2. The physical pain wasn't any worse than a period. The worst cramping came right before I passed the tissue. I was still able to go on with everyday life which was good since we didn't tell our kids about it at all.
ETA-I'm really sorry you are going through this.

((Hugs)) I am so sorry you are facing this on top of everything else.
When my betas stayed as low as yours, I had what was very similiar to a regular period start a few days later. Maybe a little more bleeding, cramping, and a couple of small clots, but I never had to take pain meds or anything. (I did take some Xanax at night to help me relax so I could sleep, but that is a different story.) If it hasn't started within a week, I would call. Your numbers on Monday will tell you more. I was not taking prometrium, though, so that may prolong the beginning. I hope your coworker comes back so you can at least take a day off.
I'm sending you lots of T&Ps, Kristy. I am so sorry this is happening. :-(

I'm not sure how far along you are, but I was 8 weeks and I mc "naturally". It was extremely heavy bleeding and intense pain (the worst I have ever experienced).
I am sorry you are going through this. My doctor prescribed vicodin for me and called it in just in case I needed it. Keep in touch with your doctor and nurses.
Based on my limited experience, it is like a really bad period. I wish I could give you the biggest hug right now.
I am so sorry honey. I had a CP and it was like a very heavy period that lasted about 12 days, usually with a lot of clotting, so don't be alarmed if you see lots of that. As for pain, I was able to treat with buckets of Advil. B/c everything was so heavy, I found using pads was easier than other methods.
I am so very sorry honey.

Ticker warning
Kristy, my heart aches for you. I want to kick the universe's knees.
For me, I didn't start bleeding until my betas were around 5 or 10. However, I wasn't on progesterone for that loss. If you haven't started bleeding by Monday, then I would say to check the betas for a better timeframe.
For the times I didn't get PG, and was on progesterone, I didn't start bleeding until 3-4 days after the last pill.
For me, it was like a heavy period. I had much worse and longer bleeding after the D&C than the natural.
