Does it really sometimes just not fade? Or take a super long time to fade? Wow, I didn't realize that it sometimes lasted that long after giving birth.

I don't have one yet.
My mom still has hers and I was her last pregnancy (22 yrs ago).
i personally dont have it yet but I did with my DD so Im waiting for it to appear Im guessing its still too early but in the weeks to come it will show up. It usually

(Sorry my daughter hit the computer..)it usually happens to woman with more olive or darker skin tones I believe. I dont think it is very common with fair skin tones. I could be wrong. It lasts for a little while after the baby is born. I think it took me about 3-4 months to lose all the baby weight and when I finally did the line was gone. I think its different for everyone though:)

DH saw it last night and kept tracing the line for a good 30 minutes.

I had one left over from DD but it was way light..its gotten a bit darker now..
With DD it came late almost right before she was born..started uh real low then came up to my belly button..
