Milk, bread, and produce are always on my list. Sometimes meat it just depends on what we are making for the week and if we already have some frozen. Now that the boys are drinking milk we go through 3 gallons in a week. I can only imagine what it is going to be like as they get bigger. Regardless it's cheaper than formula so I'll take it!
Oh, yes...how did I forget about the Applegate Farm nuggets? Although, I usually try and stock up when I see them on sale (then I buy around 6-8 boxes at a time).
Yes, this too! We have implemented a weekly spaghetti dinner into our rotation. I try to stock up on both pasta and sauce when they are on sale, but it's definitely a weekly "need" in our house, too.
ETA: I need to find a homemade recipe that I/we love and start making huge batches.
bread (usually whole grain & 1 speciality from either the bakery or something like dark rye)
romaine lettuce, carrots, celery, tomatoes & any veggies on sale
bananas & sale fruit (we eat A LOT of frozen fruit and do a co-op so I get fresh fruit from that)
spaghetti sauce & pasta
gerber yogurt for DS & jars of baby food custard (lol dont ask its super high calorie)
half gallon of whole milk, half gallon of skim (DS isnt on milk yet, still formula so we just need it to mix his carnation instant breakfast)
carnation instant breakfast & formula
probably every other week I buy a frozen pizza to have on hand for nights I dont feel like cooking
frozen chicken (we buy half a side of beef each year from DH's uncle so we really only ever buy chicken, occasionally pork and fish but I often buy frozen fish in bulk)
I usually buy more than this, I just can't think of it all right now. I should probably add yogurt and bagels to the list, as well as juice for the kids.
I spend easily $150 week at the grocery store, so I know my list is longer than that. And my cart is less and less full for the same amount of money.

Giada's marinara recipe is our favorite. It is easy, makes a ton, and has carrots and celery in it so some sneaky extra veg. Food network website has the recipe.
Monthly, Sam's plus grocery: Frozen pizzas, mandarin orange cups in 100% juice, coffee for DH, big bag frozen chicken breasts, chicken nuggets, fruit waters or gaterade 2, 100% juice boxes (my child's personal laxative/stool softener), pasta, rice, beans, canned tomatoes (I make my own sauce), any herbs that need refreshed, stock or broth, goldfish, nilla wafers or teddy grahams, kraft mac n cheese, DH's diet pop
weekly or bi-weekly: whole milk, soy milk or almond milk for DH, bread, eggs, cheese (lots of cheese!!!), yogurt, ground turkey, ground beef, usually more chicken, baby carrots, fresh garlic, onions, salad and veggies, at least 3 kinds of fresh fruit usually includes bananas, bags of frozen veggies, cereal or oatmeal or both
oh duh I forgot Mommy's Moscato and Daddy's Hudepohl Light
I am too embarrassed to type what we buy (and in more trips than I care to admit). I'll just say that apparently we need to get on a better eating plan.
cheese (sharp cheddar, something crumbly for salad - blue, feta or chevre - and baby bel or string cheese for the kids)
whole wheat bread
deli turkey
fruit: apples, bananas, grapes, oranges, avocado
veg: baby carrots, red potatoes, mushrooms, onions, garlic, broccoli and anything else that looks good... asparagus, brussels sprouts, etc oh, and salad greens
I don't buy meat at every grocery trip (try to stock up and freeze when there are good sales) but we regularly eat: boneless skinless chicken breasts, boneless skinless chicken thighs, pork tenderloin, bone in chicken breasts, flank steak, salmon and tilapia
cereal (some varietal of cheerios usually)
oatmeal
cans: soup, tomatoes, tuna
eggs
bagels or english muffins
peanut or almond butter
dried fruit
granola bars
I would say 80% of my grocery list is the same every week... which sounds kind of lame but I guess it's because our breakfasts, lunches and snacks are pretty much the same few things. Dinners vary greatly though

Oh, yes. I forgot about crumbly salad cheese. My latest salad obsession includes apples and gorgonzola with a cider vinaigrette. I could eat it every.single.day.

Exactly this, except our dinners don't vary as much as I'd like.
I am too embarrassed to type what we buy (and in more trips than I care to admit). I'll just say that apparently we need to get on a better eating plan.
Sometimes we share just a little too much around here. Enough that other people keep their lips zipped about things they do and things they eat. I'm in that club too.
Fruit (always apples and bananas and then I usually pick 2 extras per week)
Natural Peanut Butter
Jelly (smuckers Special Recipie.. the only kind I like and I can only find at Costco)
Cheese (lots of cheese!)
Veggies (always carrots, celery, cucumbers, a green leaf (spinach/romaine etc) and then side dish veggies (sometimes frozen sometimes fresh, never canned)
Tortillas
Oats
Cereal
English Muffins
Eggs
That is pretty much our weekly must haves. I pick up the rest according to the needs that week. I also stockpile certain items (canned tomatoes, beans, pasta, tuna etc) so I always have those on hand.
I am too embarrassed to type what we buy (and in more trips than I care to admit). I'll just say that apparently we need to get on a better eating plan.

I love you. That is all.
I'll admit that I had Doritos and then Oreos for dinner at 9:30 last night
Our list is pretty routine because I'm a terrible cook.
We get most of our veggies/fruit from Green BEAN, but sometimes I have to fill some holes, especially with fruit. Each week we have strawberries, blueberries, bananas, apples, grapes and canteloupe from one source or another.
Bread - maybe every other week
Taco mix/shells for weekly taco night
Ground turkey
Meat - usually what is on sale (chuck roast, steak, flank steak, stir fry beef, etc)
Pork chops if they're on sale
Frozen green beans and peas (Allie's favorite)
Yougurt
Milk
Cheese (shredded, cottage, string and block)
Chips for DH's lunch / Corn chips for taco night
Ice Cream for DH
Usually chicken/beef broth and cream soups if needed.
Lunch meat for DH's lunch
Crackers of some sort
Whatever snack DH wants for his lunch that week (Nutter butter, cookies, etc)
There are some things that I stock whenever on sale...
But on a regular basis, I buy bananas, another fruit or 2 (whatever is on sale), and baby carrots. I also buy diet sunkist (call me a junkie), lunch meat, cheese, yogurt, milk, bread, deli meat, bagels, cereal bars.
My "stock" of stuff usually includes frozen lunches for me, chicken nuggets/hot dogs/mini pancakes for DS, and some easily made things for dh and I on the nights we both work late (ie, chicken breasts that can be baked in the oven and served with little to no prep), rice or potatoes, frozen veggies, and some small snacks like pretzels, crackers, etc... I try to buy this stuff when I can combine a coupon with a sale, but it doesn't always work out that way.
Bananas, strawberries, blueberries (fresh when in season/frozen otherwise), grapes, applesauce, sweet potatoes, carrot sticks, cucumbers, tomatoes, avocado, bag of fresh spinach, bag of romaine salad mix, Wholly medium salsa, red pepper hummus, eggs, cheese (sliced and shredded), juice, milk (regular and lactaid), International Delight Skinny coffee creamers, Aunt Millie's whole wheat bread, pita, the big box of Honey Nut Cheerios, another cereal pick, high fiber maple & brown sugar instant oatmeal, Cinnamon Swirl bagels, frozen pancakes, cream cheese, organic peanut butter, grape or strawberry jelly, honey, fresh chicken breasts, fresh ground turkey, 1 frozen fish pick (usually salmon or tilapia), chicken nuggets (Earth's Best or Applegate depending on sale), Morningstar Farms sausage links, Choc Chip Bunnies, Goldfish crackers, raisins, yogurt (Greek and YoBaby), granola bars, tortilla chips and I usually get cookie dough or ice cream for 1-2 times per week
Stockpile Staples:
Frozen broccoli, peas, corn, asparagus, diced onions, Alexia oven fries, Alexia garlic bread, canned beans, canned tomatoes, canned green chiles, canned tuna, canned soup, canned green beans, whole wheat pasta, jar pasta sauce, Amy's frozen burritos, a frozen pizza or some kind of chinese dinner kit and eggrolls are usually on hand in case I botch dinner, bottled water, I stockpile juice/milk boxes if they're ever on a really good sale (we don't use them often but will take them on outings or use them as treats)

The rest depends on what is on the menu. okay who's kidding, it depends on what looks and sounds good while we are shopping.
I usually buy more than this, I just can't think of it all right now. I should probably add yogurt and bagels to the list, as well as juice for the kids.
