Officially becoming a SAHM... for now at least...

So although we haven't even told our families yet that we are expecting #2, we decided to tell the daycare provider that come this October our LO will be leaving her care because I will become a SAHM. So yay, its official!!! Our plan is that I will be home with the two infants for a couple years and then consider going part time. However, I'm hoping that by then, #3 is on its way so that part time gets pushed back even further... I'm so happy because it was so difficult to return to work and leave my LO at daycare (which we only started last month) now I can say to myself, 1 month down 7 to go!

I'm strongly considering doing the same thing come September when my maternity leave is up. We haven't told our DCP or anything yet though- I want to make sure I can handle SAH with 2u2!

Good for you! 2u2 was much easier than I expected it to be, until I returned to work. Since going back to work full-time, it has been HARD on all of us. I'm actually cutting back to three days a week, and if that's still too tough, I will quit and be a SAHM.
