When did you give LO a pillow? And did you use a full size bed pillow or something else?
We have DS's mattress propped up with a pillow from last time he was sick, and also use a folded up baby afghan as a "pillow" - I think he would like to have a better pillow, and I would prefer to not have to refold the blanket all the time, but not sure what to use.
Re: Pillows?
You are such a rebel... and I like it

Baby Sister is coming soon!
We figured that he had been using one in our bed, and he was doing fine with it (in fact, he refused to sleep without one). Plus, he was already pulling up on furniture, so, developmentally, it made sense for us. I'm pretty sure my mom would've snuck over, in the middle of the night, and removed it from his bed if it wouldn't have tripped the alarm.
We did a full size bed pillow around a year (dont' remember exactly). She did fine with it. She got a pillow pet for Christmas and prefered that over the full-size so we went with it. When I bought her new bedding, it came with a decorative pillow in the shape of a flower. She's obsessed with it and has now chosen that over the pillow pet and the full-size. Apparently my kid is a pillow snob

This was us as well. He slept in our bed a few times with a regular pillow and did just fine. We've had a full size bed pillow in his crib, he's done fine with it so far.
