Beta Testing??

in 1st Trimester

My OB didn't do it with DS, and isn't doing it with this pregnancy...Should I request it? How important is it? And if I do request it, would ins pay for it? (I have BCBS PPO)

    A lot of ladies get betas done if the've had previous issues like m/c's.

    I'm getting betas done b/c I'm going to an RE. Since we had trouble getting pregnant the RE monitors extremely closely till 8wks.

    This is what I thought... I'm a nurse, so I think I'm on top of my game, but TB always makes me question my knowledge! Lol. And thanks Pecan!
