Here I am in all my emotional chubby crying exhausted glory after having an emergency C section with my daughter. WHERE IS MY NECK? I am Jabba the Hut. 
Honestly, I don't know how all that flesh managed to get back to a normal shape and size. It's a freaking miracle I don't look like I'm wearing a flappy skin scarf round my neck. If I can recover my body from that mess, I'm not going to worry about my weight so much this time either.
Although I look a complete fat ugly mess in it, I love this picture. I was so freaking happy.
(Please note my eyebrows are perfectly waxed and shaped - a woman must have standards.)

OK! I'll share. This is me about a day after birth. I hate this picture because of how swollen my face is. I look like I've put on 30 lbs. The lady next to me is my big sis. Usually my face is thinner than hers, if that puts it into perspective.

i looked like death after my c-sect....i was so sick and pale, i think i only have 1 or 2 pics. and i thought the same thing when i looked at my pics--i was SO swollen and puffy and i looked somewhat normal just a few days later. it is all worth it.
That was me too. I had an emergency c/s and DS was taken to NICU. So I didn't get to see him until the next day. I wasn't allowed to shower yet, so those first pictures were far from cute. My hair looked wet from the grease and sweat. Gross! Oh, and I had several chins too. I'm glad no one took a picture right after the birth because after 3 hours of pushing (with no success, obviously) I had one eye swollen shut. I was still one happy momma, though!
Oh, I looked a hot mess after delivery. I even attempted to touch up my makeup around 4cm. The double chin just canceled that out though
ETA- I dd'd my legs in the stirrups pics...idk if thats inappropriate
I love all of my childbirth pics, but there's probably a reason the photog did them in black and white
And I gained 45 lbs. Didn't make pregnancy any less beautiful
