New name I heard - "Genessee"

Definitely one I had never heard of before, but I met a girl named Genessee. I kept pronouncing it wrong though..

I thought it was "Jen-E-see", but it is actually "Jen-ess-see" (rhymes with Tennessee).

Just thought I'd share the uncommon name. WDYT of it?

I grew up right by the Genesee river in upstate New York. And yes it's a brand of beer too.
